Major League Baseball franchise owner and promoter Bill Veeck once said, “The true harbinger of spring is not crocuses or swallows returning to Capistrano, but the sound of the bat on the ball.” We couldn’t agree more.
After a delayed, shortened, spectator-less season last year due to COVID, MLB Opening Day is set to take place April 1, 2021. A full 162-game season is planned, and teams won’t be limited to playing opponents from the same region. Fans will be allowed in stadiums at reduced capacity. Overall, the season will look a lot more normal than last year’s – and that’s something to celebrate.
Another thing to celebrate? Our month-to-month, fully furnished apartments available for rent near MLB stadiums. Some are just a stone’s throw – or make it a baseball throw – from a stadium, or just a few stops on public transit. These being Furnished Quarters apartments, they include everything you need to feel right at home: a fully equipped kitchen; HDTVs with cable; utilities; complimentary WiFi; and 24/7 guest service.
When we say The Viridian is close to Fenway Park, we mean very, very close. It’s just one block from the beloved home of the Boston Red Sox, or a three-minute walk. And the views of the ballpark from the building are killer.
What else does The Viridian have to offer? In addition to the 20th-floor rooftop space pictured above, there’s a 15th-floor rooftop space, a 24/7 concierge, a fitness center, a third-floor resident lounge, co-working space with a reservable conference room, on-site parking and more. The apartments themselves boast floor-to-ceiling windows; high ceilings; open floor plans with airy, expansive living spaces; wide-plank flooring and custom tiled carpeting; German-engineered stainless steel appliances; white quartz countertops; European-style frameless kitchen cabinets; spa-inspired bathrooms; smartphone-controlled lighting; and in-unit Bosch frontloading washers and dryers.

Oracle Park, home of the San Francisco Giants, is one of the MLB’s most memorable stadiums. Its unique waterfront location means skilled hitters can achieve a “splash hit” – a home run where the ball leaves the stadium and lands in the San Francisco Bay.
Located on the Embarcadero, it’s easy to get to via public transportation. Or, if you’re staying at a Furnished Quarters apartment in the Rincon Hill or SoMa neighborhood, you can even get there by walking!
If you’re looking for a place where you can live, work and play, look no further than 340 Fremont, located in San Francisco’s high-rise residential neighborhood Rincon Hill. The apartments include hardwood floors, walk-in closets and large floor-to-ceiling windows, some of which give way to stunning views of the city and the Bay Bridge. Amenities such as a 24-hour concierge, a rooftop terrace, a grilling area, pet grooming facilities and a private dog run, a resident lounge, a reading room, a yoga room and a state-of-the art fitness center create a resort-like experience.
