Coronavirus (COVID-19) Safety Precautions

We’re sure you’re following the news about COVID-19. We’re keeping a close watch and want you to know that the safety of our guests and staff is extremely important. We’ve met with our field staff and housekeeping providers to review our processes and expectations for sanitizing our apartments.

The cleaning standards we operate under already address sanitation and disease concerns. However, we’ve issued additional guidance to our teams as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This includes use of hospital-grade products to clean all “high-touch” surfaces such as bathrooms, counters, tabletops, remotes, doorknobs and apartment keys and fobs. Our cleaning staff are required to wear masks and gloves and have been instructed to remove themselves from any apartment where guests appear to be sick. In the coming months we’ll be introducing the use of electrostatic sprayers, a technology that will allow us to provide the highest level disinfection available for our guests. All associates have been told they should not work if they are sick or are not feeling well. If any employee is exhibiting symptoms, he or she will be promptly sent home. Additionally, all apartments must have a minimum 96-hour vacancy between guests.
