Rubbing Elbows in the Corporate Housing Industry
Mar 01, 2013 05:34 AM
When you’re a provider of furnished apartments, corporate housing, and short-term rentals in New York and beyond, you have to keep up with the state of the industry. At Furnished Quarters, we do more than just pay lip service to this idea.
As a founding member of GO Furnished Housing Providers—a global network of independently owned and operated providers—we keep ourselves on the go to a wide variety of industry conferences and events.
Here is a sampling of some of the latest events we’ve attended, along with some highlights:
We attended the 2013 annual conference of the Corporate Housing Providers Association (CHPA) in Phoenix on February 4-6, where Craig Partin, our Vice-President of Sales, gave presentations on Segment Marketing and Human Resources. The CHPA is a professional trade association that helps to support corporate housing providers worldwide, and their networking events offer invaluable resources. In case you missed it, you can listen to the presentations and view PowerPoints online at this link.
Three members of our team exhibited at the New York City Business Travel Association (NYCBTA) Annual Trade Show and Silent Auction on February 27 at Gotham Hall in Manhattan. The Association is affiliated with the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), and represents corporate travel and travel providers throughout the world. Education is the reason that these organizations were founded, and the Furnished Quarters’ team takes advantage of these learnings!
Furnished Quarters also attended the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International’s (HSMAI) Annual Luncheon on February 27 at the Princeton Club in New York City. HSMAI has more than 7,000 members worldwide and provides the industry with tool and insights to conduct their business more effectively. You can visit the Association’s Knowledge Center or Trends and Research page to gather data on your own.
We’re always ahead of the curve in the corporate housing industry, and we hope you’ll stay with us soon to notice the difference that is Furnished Quarters.
