Furnished Quarters Expands Sales and Executive Team to Support Continued Growth

Furnished Quarters, the largest provider of temporary furnished apartments in New York City and Boston, today announced significant expansion of both its sales and executive teams in conjunction with growth in 2013.
Among the new hires, the company reported that today Victoria Yanakos has joined the Furnished Quarters’ New York office as Senior Corporate Sales Manager. Victoria brings to Furnished Quarters over a decade of corporate housing expertise having worked for Bridgestreet in its New York City and London markets. Most recently, Victoria was Director of Memberships for a private hotel.
Also in sales:
Diane Mulligan has joined the Furnished Quarters’ Massachusetts office as Corporate Sales Manager. Diane has 20 years of hospitality, sales, and management experience, most recently at the Dedham Hilton outside of Boston.
Denise Tomasetti has joined the Furnished Quarters’ New York office as Corporate Sales Manager. Denise brings two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, most recently as Club Membership Manager for three private business clubs -- The Terrace Club, Midtown Executive Club, and View of the World Terrace Club. Prior, she served as Director of Client Relations for SIRVA Relocation.
Selena Carter was promoted to Director of Sales. Selena, who has over 17 years of experience in the hospitality industry, joined Furnished Quarters in 2006 as a Corporate Sales Manager before serving as a Senior Sales Manager and Assistant Director of Sales at the company. In these positions, Selena became the top sales producer at Furnished Quarters. She has received the designation of Certified Corporate Travel Executive (CCTE) from the Global Business Travel Association, of which she is a member.
Previously announced recent additions to the Furnished Quarters’ Executive team are Melanie Klaschka as General Manager of White Plains, Connecticut, and New Jersey; Robin Spindel as Director of Marketing; and Brian Owen Terry as Vice President of Operations.
These new hires are in response to Furnished Quarter’s rapid growth during 2013, increasing the total number of apartments offered by 15%. In line with the additional apartments available, Furnished Quarters is projecting an increase in total annual revenue for 2013 of over 20% from the previous year.
