Jersey City & Hoboken

The two Jersey cities that New Yorkers are most familiar with, thanks to their close proximity and ease of commuting into Manhattan are Hoboken and Jersey City. Both cities offer a big-city feel, with lots of nightlife, events, and dining options with a bustling downtown scene that draws people both near and far.
In recent years, commuters have come to love the ease of various transportation options both Jersey City and Hoboken have to offer. The PATH is the preferred means of transport when it comes to commuting into Manhattan with three of its four stations located in Jersey City. NY Waterway ferries transport from Jersey city direct to Battery Park City Ferry Terminal. Everything from Liberty Water Taxi, The Hudson-Bergen light rail, and various Citi Bike docks the means of transportation are effortless!
Jersey City is the state’s second-largest city and is labeled to be the most diverse city in the U.S. Directly adjacent to Jersey City, you will find Hoboken, both bordered by the Hudson River to the East. Historic areas, like Paulus Hook and the Village, have more boutique storefronts, whereas a more vibrant urban beat can be found in Journal Square. Lafayette and the Heights have a more eclectic, neo-bohemian, artsy vibe.
DiningJersey City and Hoboken both share an eclectic dining scene with new restaurants and eateries opening frequently throughout the year. From rustic cocktail bars, and lively neighborhood joints to intimate Italian locales and late-night favorites there is something to appease everyone’s taste.
