Job Description:

Essential Job Functions include: Housekeeper is responsible for the general cleaning and upkeep of apartments and other assigned areas Must have basic knowledge of general cleaning principles, use of cleaning products and operation of standard cleaning equipment General cleaning, dusting, vacuuming etc. Washing floors, windows as needed, changing and laundering of linens, sweeping of patios and balconies, changing light bulbs, trash removal Additional duties as assigned by your supervisor Leave the apartment in uniform arrangement as determined by Furnished Quarters’ standards Requirements include: the ability to lift, bend, rearrange furniture; remain on one's feet for extended periods of time Must be team oriented and dedicated to providing excellent service to ensure Furnished Quarters’ highest cleanliness and guest service standards are met.

Skills Required:

The ideal candidate should have one year of hotel, apartment or home cleaning experience and needs to know Manhattan and public transportation (subways). The candidate should speak English. Uniforms will be provided. Schedules will vary based on availability to meet the needs of the business. Average work week will vary.

Educational Requirements:

H.S. Diploma Preferred
